Location
Heifer Ranch is located near Perryville, AR in the rolling hills between the Ozark and the Ouachita Mountain ranges. Heifer Ranch is a Learning Center for Heifer International, a nonprofit organization that is dedicated to working with communities around the world to end hunger and poverty.
In addition to the conference center where MOMcation 2010 will be hosted, you’ll also find a working ranch with an unusual collection of animals. Alongside the chickens, cows, horses, and goats, you’ll also have the chance to observe and interact with camels, llamas, water buffalo, and turkeys. The ranch is situated above the Fourche River valley and boasts beautiful woodland and pastoral views.

Lodging will be in the Rupel and Hersch lodges. Each lodge includes a common area with a kitchen, dining table, and lounge area. Common area accommodations include a refrigerator and freezer, microwave, coffee maker, stove/oven, tv, and DVD player. Bedrooms sleep four to six in bunk beds. Each room has its own bath. You will have the opportunity to make roommate requests when you register for the retreat.
Meals and Snacks are included in the registration fee and are served cafeteria style in the dining hall. Provided meals include Friday dinner; Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner; and Sunday breakfast. Snacks and beverages will also be available throughout the weekend. Most special dietary needs can be accommodated – just let us know what you need on your registration form.
